To be honest, nearly ALL lotions, creams, etc... already contain chemicals that would cause your eyes to pop out if you read their MSDS (material safety data sheet) - go look up some of the ingredients in your shampoo, conditioner or tooth paste.. it will blow your mind. That being said, it's simply because these products are NOT considered consumables and therefor DO NOT fall under the regulations of the FDA - even though the largest organ of your body is your SKIN!
