Allergy Friendly Candy Canes
I spent some serious time in the candy cane departments of both Wegmans and Jo Ann fabrics and found several flavors of allergy friendly candy canes, Spangler brand. Some were cherry, Smarties, Shrek, Mickey Mouse, etc. I did buy one in every flavor. Last year I found some at Toys R Us as well, however I haven’t made that journey just yet!!! Still avoiding the toy aisles

i realise i forgot to give you the name of the fondant i was talking about – it’s satin ice fondant. it’s kosher, gluten-free and nut-free. my order just arrived!! whee… =)
oh and the icing gels that are safe (egg, dairy and nut-free) are from americolors. they’re not as vivid as the wilton colors (you’ll need quite a bit more), but they’ll have to do for us..
